The present work explains the emergency of social phenomenon known as Policía Comunitaria (Community Police) in the mexican southern state of Guerrero, and it analyzes the importance of this process from two observations lines: first, recovering the social political dimension of emerging sociality construction on the Coast-Mountain region, framed in the crisis estate context; and second, from self-defense of life and territory in risk of attempting by foreign mining companies that have been introducing in the area.
