This article compiles and analyses the main proposals presented in the State Reform project by the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), the National Action Party (PAN) and the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) regarding the themes of Government and State Regime, Democracy and Electoral System and Federalism. The paper discusses agreements and disagreements of proposals, its pertinence and viability, as well as the context and importance of such reform for the future of governing, democracy and federalism in Mexico.
