The article approaches the problematic of National Autonomy and its relation with the culture and identity in the case of the Spanish region of Catalonia within the context of the mundialization and the process of political and economic integration that has been developing in the European Union. It also studies the research for greater spaces of democratic representation and self-determination by means of the renovation of plurinational federalism throughout the generation of constitutional and institutional reforms.
