This paper reviews the effects of the implementation of neoliberal economic policies in Argentina on income distribution and poverty since the year 1990, in a framework in which economic growth did not result in a significant reduction on the variables being analyzed. The notion of "dynamic slacking off" is used to analyze the variables being proposed, given that such notion does make it possible to detail the regulations that were in force during the decade being studied.
