This paper's objective is to review the discourse-related, cognitive, and representative structures of some of the most disadvantaged sectors of Spain's labor market and their relationship with the reality-interpreting models generated and disseminated by neoliberal economicist thinking. The aim is to study the mechanisms through which male and female workers themselves incorporate these models-predominant in contemporary reality-in order to define and understand their situation and to assess their own capabilities and likelihood to modify it.
