SANTARCANGELO, Juan E.  y  CRUZ LUCERO, Juan. Concentration, foreign capital and the role of big business in the Argentinean external sector (1994-2015). Perf. latinoam. [online]. 2021, vol.29, n.57, pp.55-84.  Epub 06-Sep-2021. ISSN 0188-7653.  https://doi.org/10.18504/pl2957-003-2021.

During the last fifty years, productive dynamics and international trade have been significantly transformed and big business has gained relevance since they have increased their economic power and their significance on foreign trade. The aim of this paper is to analyze the pattern of trade specialization registered during the period 1994-2015 in order to account for the role played by big business in foreign trade; the trajectory evidenced by it between the convertibility and post-convertibility regimes, its evolution in terms of concentration and foreign penetration, and the implications that these phenomena have in terms of economic development.

Palabras llave : concentration; foreign capital; big business; economic development; foreign trade; Argentina.
