Abstract

A critical reflection is made about the public and pedagogical communication of anthropological knowledge in the Science Festival at technopolis. The experience in that place was transformed into a kind of ethnographic practice of the visitor, in whose speeches on the cultural diversity the reproduction of essentialist and stereotyped concepts was perceived, heirs of evolutionist and ethnocentrist ideologies.
