Urban mobility challenges social research's traditional methods towards understanding the meanings and experiences of daily travels. this article explores the use of ethnography as a collective practice to comprehend daily mobility in the city of Santiago. Collective ethnography is the product of field-work and analytical strategies interwoven with the characteristics of the practices it analyses, marked by their multiplicity and transience, as well as by the relevance of corporeal and material dimensions.
