In this essay we examine and reflect about the influence of contemporary fears in the uses and perception of urban spaces. Observing the anthropomorphic bodies and specific places adjudicated to fears, we discuss the findings of the investigation called "Fear as a Social Construction" (La Construcción Social del Miedo) and its political and social implications.
