Abstract

OROZCO HERNANDEZ, María Estela; FARFAN ESCALERA, Ricardo  and  GUTIERREZ SANCHEZ, Dulce Leonor. Environmental performance of natural resources in rural communities, State of Mexico. Invest. Geog [online]. 2011, n.76, pp.84-103. ISSN 2448-7279.

This research examines the environmental conditions of natural resources in relation to the use and management modes in sixteen rural communities of San Felipe del Progreso, State of Mexico. Through documentary information, statistics and mapping was carried out social and biophysical characterization of the study area, and data collected from the experience of the residents, fed the evaluation system pressure-state-response and cause-effect matrix that synthesizes the Community's environmental performance.
