The aim of this paper is the identification of the landslides derived from earthquake in the Cuautepec graben. Five generations of landslides are identified in this region. Relative ages are assigned based on: a) the topographic and geological position; b) degree of the stream dissection and the depth of the stream dissection; c) geomorphic expression of the exposed rupture surface and landslide deposit, and d) evidence of historic earthquakes (period 1455-1995).
