Urban land use studies using remote sensing techniques is widely used and analized for many researchers who agree in its great utility, however, they would like to have better sensors in order to get images with spatial resolution enhanced. With this in mind, this work offers a hibrid product with great utility in urban land use, obtained from the integration of an aerial photography and an SPOT multispectral image, using color space transformations technique RGB → IHS and viceversa. The resulting product is an multiespecral image with spatial resolution of the aerial photography and spectral resolution from the SPOT multispectral image, overrunning the limitations that each sepparated product offers in urban land use aplications. The techniques here analized were applied to a training site, where it can be seen its utility and advantage over the products used separately.
