Grapevine has had a great productive increase in the last years, in the North and in the Center of Mexico, being Queretaro one of the States of the Mexican Republic with good production of that fruit tree; within this State outstands for its climatic and edafic conditions, the Valley of San Juan del Río. Data are given on the production of gravepine in the State in the last years. The inmediate objetive of the present work is that, by means of the analysis of the exploitation potential of gravepine in this State, the interest for the increasing of its area of distribution, and of its productions grows to achieve a better profit of this resource.
