The actual development in Mexico, of the several sectors of its economy, is based, mainly, on petroleum exportation. This paper analyzes the functional structure of Salina Cruz Industrial Port in Oaxaca State. Its main objective is to establish wide energetic sector capacity and stimulate capital goods for those sectors that generate the industrial development in that area.
