A study was made of the climate and soil of the Municipality of Huajintlan, in the State of Morelos, on both soil and climatic condition to be able to suggest which crops could grow in that region. The climate of this area is warm, with average annual temperature that ranges between 22-26°C, the rainy season is during the summer and the average annual precipitation is 979 mm. The soil can be classified within 5 series and 6 types: all of them have a nearly neutral pH, and without salt problem. According to the resultes of this study, the use of irrigation and the growth of specific varieties of mango and avocado are suggested.
