Its object was to give the geomorphologic basis for the agronomist to understand better the meaning of the geomorphological maps of the Alfajayucan river basin, drawn for the Secretaría de Recursos Hidráulicos. Storie classification was used because it was considered to have a practical and functional objective according with the needs. The correlation between the quantitative values of the Storie's classification and the geomorphologic elements facilitates their interpretation.
