A previously developed Comfort Index (Terjung, 1966) based on subjective reactions of man was applied to Mexico. The maps present the anual variations of the comfort index. The relationship between the comfort index and the economic activities of the population are also stablished because working efficiency is affected by the sensations of human comfort.
