This paper aims to present the indicators generated on the study of urban sustainability in the municipality of Chimalhuacan, located in the Eastern of the State of Mexico. It has characteristics in the territorial, urban, and social, with the complexity and link that this territory presents with the metropolitan area of Mexico City, the largest in the country and Latin America. Generate indicators for the study of the municipal territory, means building tools that allow to know the human impact on environmental, social and economic, and be relevant to the decision makers, and be a support in planning, and governance.
