Mass media play a central role in the configuration of modern culture since they are the necessary and omnipresent mediators between social events and individuals. Given the importance of informative discourse in the transmission of information and opinions, the purpose of this article is to exhibit and to illustrate a methodological proposal that can be useful in the analysis of journalistic texts. The specificity of this proposal is that it incorporates in one scheme all the different levels of analysis that would be necessary to study in this journalistic genre.
