Mennonites are an ethnic-religious group that rose out of the Anabaptists in the 16th century. Since their inception, they undergone various migratory stages throughout Europe. In the 20th century, one group of Mennonites migrated from Canada to Mexico and another left Germany for Southern Brazil. Immigrant Mennonites born in countries such as Brazil and Mexico have built a narrative that allows them to create different identities, overcome their exile from Europe and become prosperous, which has made them a diaspora, since they are scattered throughout the world.

Palavras-chave : transnational diaspora; Mennonites; Mexico-Brazil; narratives.
