Abstract

PERONI, Andrea. Keys to good territorial development. Frontera norte [online]. 2013, vol.25, n.49, pp.57-86. ISSN 2594-0260.

The Ministry of the Interior of Chile implemented a system of identification, stimulation and learning of good practices for the development of the territories in the contest for best practices. Meta-analysis of the system through the characterization and comparison of winning and non-winning experiences identified the keys to good territorial development. The methodology consisted of a quantitative analysis of 292 postulated experiences. The main conclusions indicate that the features present in the winning and non-winning experiences are distinctive; common traits are of "medium term", not delivering differentiating specific knowledge. Finally, the features present in the winning experiences, though they relate directly to the theoretical framework that was used, is insufficient.

Keywords : territorial development; good practices; evaluation systems; innovation; Chile.
