SANCHEZ GODOY, Jorge Alan. Procesos de institucionalización de la narcocultura en Sinaloa. Frontera norte [online]. 2009, vol.21, n.41, pp.77-103. ISSN 2594-0260.
The conditions of devalued identity were the subjective base in which axiological codes, legitimization mechanisms, the logistics of power and certain distinct means of mystic-religious expression in the mind of the trafficker were articulated. By the 1970's, the networks of reciprocity were expanding in the cities of the state of Sinaloa, forsaking the image of Subculture. Therefore, upon distancing themselves from their cultural vulnerability and positioning themselves on the urban landscape, they simultaneously diluted their rural roots in order to reconstitute themselves today as a narcoculture on the road to legitimacy in a universe absorbed by hedonism, individualism and the search for social prestige
