Abstract

MUNGARAY LAGARDA, Alejandro  and  RAMIREZ ANGULO, Natanael. Subcontratación en microempresas y pequeñas empresas de Baja California. Frontera norte [online]. 2004, vol.16, n.32, pp.35-62. ISSN 2594-0260.

This article shows that subcontracting is a key factor in increasing the competitiveness of microenterprises and small businesses when it creates two conditions: 1) the generation of greater value-added for a company's products, and 2) the capitalization of earnings at a higher investment level (active subcontracting). Applying game theory, the article also discusses a conceptual model of the process, in which revenue is transformed into income through a subcontracting relationship.

Keywords : subcontracting; microenterprises and small companies; profit maximization; metalmecanic industry; Baja California.
