Abstract

AEDO, Carlos. Geranium mooreanum (Geraniaceae), a new species from Jalisco, Mexico. Act. Bot. Mex [online]. 2011, n.95, pp.29-36. ISSN 2448-7589.

Geranium mooreanum, a new species belonging to subg. Geranium, is described and illustrated. It is endemic to the Sierra de Manantlán, Jalisco, Mexico. A morphological comparison with related species and a key to distinguish the species of Geranium in southern Jalisco is provided. In addition, a detailed description, distribution map, habitat and line-drawing are given.
