A few days after the Zapatista uprising of 1994, land reform in fact signified the recovery and seizure of land was presented. In this sense, official data reported over 700 agricultural centers (ejido), compared with 1991 Census Ejidal, this would not have been possible without the public appearance of the EZLN. This paper analyzes and reflects what the situation of the earth at 20 years of Zapatista rebellion, is divided into four sections. The first: the foundation, the history, the myth states as the EZLN takes up the idea of the leader Emiliano Zapata and what it symbolizes, and the absence of the Mexican Revolution and its achievements in southeastern Mexico, which nurtured the EZLN reguimiento. The second shows the encuanto data transformations to the possession of the land, while the third of what remains and what is missing. Finally, the fourth section is a small sample of the Zapatista communities as land reform exercise will in fact from the everyday.
