This article analyzes the work of Ruy Mauro Marini highlighting its main thesis about the dependent capitalism, such as overexploitation, sub-imperalism, state of counterin-surgency, state of fourth power, and his interpretation of Latin American thought. At the same time refer some aspects about current importance of his thought.
