Abstract

Language is one of the instruments of Social Sciences. In this article, we talk about one of the sources, the books. Over one land, Latin America, at 19th century, there are important books of the social disciplines: in America, what are the ways of the book trade? Where the books are edited? What was their language? This article is about the "Spanish Library", the French books edited in Spanish and distributed in Latin America during the 19th Century, with authors like Constant, Tocqueville, Bentham o José María Luis Mora.
