Abstract

ESCUDERO, María Carolina. La práctica artística como generadora de sujetos políticos: Una lectura de Jacques Ranciére. Argumentos (Méx.) [online]. 2009, vol.22, n.60, pp.27-38. ISSN 0187-5795.

The aim of this text is to present the thesis of Jacques Ranciére around the political esthetic, understood as a way of social order composition situated on a distortion. About this conception I am going to analyze the practice of creation and composition of the Wuppertal Dance Theatre of Pina Bausch. This, with the interest of showing how this dance company manages to put in question, starting on new forms of composition, the hegemonic ways of perception in the contemporary societies. I want to refer how the evidence of distortion became the construction of politic subjectivity. This is possible after making acquaintance of new forms of visibility and organization with the critic of the contemporary man's experience modes.

Keywords : political esthetic; subjectivity; Wuppertal Dance Theatre.
