Resumen

AYALA CARRILLO, María del Rosario; GUTIERREZ VILLALPANDO, Verónica  y  ZAPATA MARTELO, Emma. Gender, climate change and REDD+: Experiences in time. Terra Latinoam [online]. 2016, vol.34, n.1, pp.139-153. ISSN 2395-8030.

Climate change is an urgent issue on the global agenda. Countries work to define policies to mitigate the causes, reduce vulnerability and strengthen policies and mitigation actions. While awareness of the problem has been generated at international, national and local levels and government and NGO actions and strategies have been proposed to recognize climate change as a worldwide issue requiring global solutions, no actions have been attained as to having an effective impact on the lives of women and men, and the gender perspective has not fully landed in practice.

Palabras llave : gender perspective; natural resources; policies; soil.
