Modeling of the spatial structure function of soil organic carbon (SOC) in Mexico was performed using the multifractal process theory. In the case of a finite number of samples or the integration (averaging) of sample scales, divergence of statistical moments may appear which can be interpreted as a monofractal process. This study reviews, technically, the divergence of statistical moments of SOC which suggest a multifractal pattern. The universal scaling function of the SOC multifractal process was adjusted using divergence restriction of estimated statistical moments.
