Abstract

ARTAZA, Carlos Hugo. Comparative analysis of the curricula for Library and Documentary Sciences degrees in Argentina. Investig. bibl [online]. 2013, vol.27, n.59, pp.93-120. ISSN 2448-8321.

In order to describe the orientations, similarities, differences and levels of flexibility of the curricula of undergraduate degree programs in library science and documentation, we performed a comparative analysis of the curricula offered by six universities in Argentina. To perform the study, researchers used content analysis techniques and applied multidimensional statistical indicators. The research concludes that the respective curricula analyzed are rigid and exhibit important divergences in graduate profile and career path.
