RESTREPO ARANGO, Cristina. Biblographical productivity of historians from El Colegio de Mexico. Investig. bibl [online]. 2011, vol.25, n.54, pp.111-140. ISSN 2448-8321.

The demographic characteristics of the publications produced by researchers at the Centre for Historical Studies (CEH) of El Colegio de Mexico (COLMEX) from l948 to June 2010 are analyzed. The visibility and impact of the journals used by researchers at the CEH it is also studied. 4.304 documents published in that period were found. This production is concentrated in five types of documents, book chapters (23.95%), papers (22.8%), congresses' presentations (21.07%), books (14.75%) and critical reviews (11.13%). These documents are published primarily in Mexico (70.8%) and in Spanish language (87.04%). The journal Historia Mexicana holds the largest number of articles and reviews published. The journal with the highest h-index and JIF index was Hispanic American Historical Review. The bibliographical production of these researchers is growing exponentially.
