Abstract

PIRELA MORILLO, Johann. Educational trends in the 21st century and the Library, Archival and Information Science curricula in Mexico and Venezuela. Investig. bibl [online]. 2007, vol.21, n.43, pp.73-105. ISSN 2448-8321.

Results of a research visit to Mexico's CUIB (University Center for Library Research) are presented, together with the analysis of the anticipated trends for higher education in this century and their incorporation into six Mexican and two Venezuelan schools of Library Archival and Information Science curricula. Main research results show that curricula integrate humanistic and sociological with technological trends.
