Resumo

LANDEROS, Fidel; CARRANZA, Julieta  e  GUZMAN-DAVALOS, Laura. New records of the genus Helvella (Fungi: Ascomycota) for Costa Rica. Rev. Mex. Mic [online]. 2014, vol.39, pp.13-19. ISSN 0187-3180.

Five new records of Helvella are reported for Costa Rica: H. fibrosa, H. láctea, H. pezizoides, H. solitaria, and H. sulcata. The number of species of Helvella cited from this country is increased to 12 with this work. Taxonomic comments for the new records and a dichotomous key for the 12 known species for Costa Rica are presented.
