Abstract

CAZARES, Efrén; GUEVARA, Gonzalo; GARCIA, Jesús  and  TRAPPE, James M.. Melanogaster minysporus sp. nov., a new sequestrate member of the Boletales from Mexico. Rev. Mex. Mic [online]. 2008, vol.28, n.spe, pp.67-69. ISSN 0187-3180.

Melanogaster minysporus is described as a new species from northern Mexico (Nuevo Leon). It is distinctive in the genus in having a bright yellow peridium that stains reddish where bruised in fresh and small spores.

Keywords : Paxillaceae; hypogeous; Quercus.
