This article analyzes the emerging and growing migration between rural Veracruz and the United States in a context of the redefinition of labor markets, the establishment of circuits, and the way in which different actors create and recreate over time the social structures of opportunities they access. The aim is to look at the social factors that originate and maintain international migration as well as the role of social networks in the circulation of tangible and intangible resources. The information analyzed is the product of field work in different rural communities.
