Abstract

JULIAN VEJAR, Dasten Alfonso. Bases for the Precarious Assessment Model of Work in Chile: Approaches from the Point of View of Labor Policy and the Culture of Labor. Sociológica (Méx.) [online]. 2014, vol.29, n.81, pp.119-160. ISSN 2007-8358.

This article presents a definition of the precarious assessment model of labor as a proposal for characterizing labor policy and the creation of a symbolic nucleus for understanding labor in Chile. The author also analyzes the ways that consensuses and consent are established in production, especially through government policies implemented in the space of production. Finally, he reviews the trends that move the new processes of assessment and signification of labor.

Keywords : labor precariousness; work; labor policy; culture of work.
