Abstract

Acute renal failure, defined as the loss of kidney function caused by various causes, from infection to the intake of drugs, has still a high mortality in critical care units, the therapy of this disease is from its own protection to the artificial kidney replacement of injured kidney functions, currently the continuous renal replacement therapy has been used as a way of renal support, providing greater clinical stability in the most unstable patients, this review discusses concepts and indications, as well as the programming method.
