This work analyzes the narratives of inhabitants’ identity in a village in conflict. The results presented are in a context of land transformation processes for the construction of a social interest urban complex. The identity narratives collected in the work field show the conservation processes, change and resistance that take place between the rural and the urban, in the municipality of Chalco, State of Mexico.
