ALANIS ENCISO, Fernando Saúl. Embryonic Migration Networks in the Migration between Mexico-United States (1920s). Relac. Estud. hist. soc. [online]. 2020, vol.41, n.161, pp.91-112. Epub 19-Nov-2020. ISSN 2448-7554. https://doi.org/10.24901/rehs.v41i161.621.
The objective of this article is to demonstrate the existence of migratory networks in the 1920s that began to form among the first Mexican migrants to the United States with their relatives, friends, and countrymen who continued to live in their communities of origin in central Mexico. The principle proposal sustains that these pioneering networks, based on interpersonal relationships, were a factor that contributed to the displacement of people from Mexico to the United States in that period.
