Abstract

NOLASCO GUZMAN, Vicente et al. First Report of Phakopsora arthuriana on Jatropha curcas in Mexico. Rev. mex. fitopatol [online]. 2013, vol.31, n.1, pp.70-73. ISSN 2007-8080.

During 2011 and 2012, rust symptoms were observed on Jatropha curcas leaves in Xochitlán de Vicente Suárez, Puebla, Mexico. Based on morphological characteristics, the causal agent was identified as Phakopsora arthuriana. Additionally, Sphaerellopsis filum was found naturally parasiting 30 % of P. arthuriana uredinia.
