This text is an analysis of two works of visual art, which represent the idea of a “future city”: New Babylon, by Constant Nieuwenhuys, and Soft City, by Hariton Pushwagner, through the ideas of “dreaming”, “experience” and “destruction” proposed by Walter Benjamin, foremost in the Arcades Project.
