Resumen
DIAZ GAVIER, Candelaria. Aesthetic teaching and avant-garde poetics in Argentina: Aristotle with Héctor Libertella. Acta poét [online]. 2018, vol.39, n.2, pp.121-141. ISSN 2448-735X. https://doi.org/10.19130/iifl.ap.2018.2.839.
This article proposes the joint reading of two texts: Aristotle’s Poetics and Héctor Libertella’s New Latin American Writing (1977). The reading consists here in an exercise of equalization of two texts that are dissimilar in terms of the place they take in literary studies, and in Western Culture in general. Thus, the Poetics can explain what has been taken as ‘universal’, a category that Libertella's essay is responsible for dismantling; whereas New Latin American Writing allows for approaching the classical text from the perspective of its writing. Continuities and differences between both seem to revolve around the question of apprenticeship in art.
