Abstract

REDONDO MOYANO, Elena. Julian the Apostate: Study of the Letters Written between the Years 355 and 360. Acta poét [online]. 2012, vol.33, n.1, pp.197-234. ISSN 2448-735X.

This work offers a panoramic vision of the Greek epistolary genre, in order to place within it the corpus of letters by Julian the Apostate. From this body of work we analyze the letters he wrote when he was Caesar, paying attention to the context in which they were written, the recipients, the message they conveyed and their structure within the poetic and rhetorical concepts of the time.
