I analyze the vision of three classical authors on bullfighting by comparing some features of the 20th century main elegies on the theme: "Llanto por la muerte de Ignacio Sánchez Mejías" by Federico García Lorca, "Verte y no verte" by Rafael Alberti and "Elegía a Joselito" by Gerardo Diego. In doing this, 1 look into the approach that these authors take in dealing with the main protagonists of this art, namely: bull, bullfighter and death.
