Abstract

MAYEN FLORES, Mario. Uso y crítica del discurso filosófico en la tragedia Edipo Rey. Nova tellus [online]. 2005, vol.23, n.1, pp.49-98. ISSN 0185-3058.  https://doi.org/10.19130/iifl.nt.2005.23.1.150.

This essay analyzes some passages of Sophocles’ Oedipus Rex, where the poet, through dramatic and expressive language, refutes the philosophic discourse of his own time and criticizes some of its approaches as well as its excessive self-confidence, which are evident in the impious disdain of the effectiveness of divination and other non-philosophical ways.

Keywords : crítica; discurso; edipo; rey; tragedia.
