This text explains the significance of the differences by gender, reference group and modality of the study program of the quantitative reasoning test results of Colombian university students in 2018. The significance is established through a multifactorial analysis of variance that shows the existence of statistically significant differences by gender and reference group, soften when controlling by modality. There is a difference in favor of men if the entire population is added. In the virtual mode, there are not significant differences in some programs or in favor of women in Social Sciences and Humanities.
