Abstract

The objective of this study was to know the mobility and immigration experiences of foreign scientists who obtained a Cátedra Patrimonial, Level II, and after some years stayed in permanent academic positions at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. What happened with them? The study presents an analysis which included three aspects: their departure from their native country; arrival to Mexico and their residence, and their academic contributions.
