In this paper we submitted some research results on the management processes of movable property in a public university. The study highlights the contradictions and paradoxes of the social dimension of this process, more than in the edges of the administrative aspect. We built four categories: "the platelets" and institutional legitimacy, the hierarchical objects transfer and their physical and symbolic re-adaptation, the simulated rationality and the joined bureaucracy. We postulate that the management of movable reveals part of the enormous complexity of the public university, while opens new ways of social investigation through the objects.
