The purpose of this paper is to analyse ten years of university evaluation and accreditation in Argentina, focusing on the work of academics as peer evaluators, from the view of the national agency in charge of the development of the evaluative processes. The article is aimed at collaborating in a scarce studied area of knowledge in both, national and international literature, and then having more elements for a better understanding of the systems in our region.
